The company completed the design, manufacture and shipment of an underwater infrastructure intended for installation in the Norwegian Sea.
T12 Engineering moves forward with one of its biggest offshore projects
T12 Engineering announced the completion of the assembly and shipment of a gravity-based subsea structure (GBS) for an energy project in the Norwegian Sea. The structure was dispatched from the Port of Immingham after successfully completing all stages of manufacturing and logistical preparation.
Weighing 60 tons, the structure represents one of the largest projects undertaken by the company to date. Its delivery marks a significant step forward in the planned schedule for offshore operations in Norwegian waters.
From conception to delivery and engineering for the GBS project
According to the company, the team participated in all phases of development, activities including the conceptual definition of the project, detailed design, manufacturing, assembly and coordination of maritime transport to Norway.
This comprehensive approach made it possible to maintain technical continuity throughout the entire process and ensure that each stage met the requirements established for its future underwater installation.
Furthermore, the execution of the project highlighted the coordination capacity between the different teams involved, as well as the importance of planning for the delivery of infrastructure intended for the offshore sector.
Security and collaboration as fundamental elements
The company highlighted that all activities associated with the project were completed without any lost-time injuries (LTI), an indicator widely used in the industry to measure performance in terms of workplace safety.
Likewise, T12 Engineering acknowledged the contribution of its partners and collaborators, noting that coordination between the different parties was a determining factor in achieving the technical and logistical objectives of the project.
Next stop in the Norwegian Sea
Following the structure’s arrival in the Scandinavian country, the project will move to the offshore installation phase. During this stage, the necessary operations will be carried out to integrate the underwater infrastructure into the energy development for which it was designed.
With this delivery, T12 Engineering reinforces its expertise in subsea engineering and in the execution of complex projects for the offshore industry in Northern Europe, a market that continues to promote investments in infrastructure for oil, gas and other marine energy activities.
