With the participation of specialists, operators, inspectors, engineers, and energy industry leaders from various countries, the 2026 API Inspection & Mechanical Integrity Summit has commenced, standing as one of the most important international technical gatherings regarding inspection, mechanical integrity, and asset reliability.

The API Inspection and Mechanical Integrity conference; Maintaining asset integrity in an evolving energy industry; the most influential in the energy sector is here. The “API Inspection and Mechanical Integrity” event will take place from July 20 to 23 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio, Texas, bringing together experts, engineers, and tank operators from around the world to address the essential issues facing the industry.

A program focused on safety, technology and regulation

The “API Inspection and Mechanical Integrity” is the benchmark conference that brings together professionals from across the field of inspection and mechanical integrity. The event offers a comprehensive experience including specialized training sessions, technical presentations, exhibition spaces, and valuable networking opportunities.

The conference serves a wide range of the industrial sector with specific content for upstream, midstream, downstream, petrochemical, and multi-sector areas (collectively referred to as “divisions”). In turn, each division is organized into specific disciplines or technical tracks, such as inspection/NDT/monitoring, asset integrity and engineering, and corrosion/metallurgy, among others.

Each “API Inspection and Mechanical Integrity” begins with an optional training day offering specialized courses, followed by two and a half days of educational sessions, industry presentations, and an exhibition area featuring cutting-edge technologies that support inspection and mechanical integrity across various sectors.

Asset integrity management and engineering

Simultaneous technical sessions will be offered each day covering various areas of the oil, gas, chemical, and petrochemical industries. The main program of the API Inspection and Mechanical Integrity Summit, which includes all sessions and panels, will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Individual presentation sessions will last 35 minutes, which includes time for a Q&A session at the end.
