The company Velesto Energy announced the award of a new contract to provide offshore drilling services through its subsidiary Velesto Sumber. The award, granted by Northern Gulf Petroleum, includes the deployment of the NAGA 6 rig in Thailand’s territorial waters.

Through this strategic alliance, the contractor will be responsible for executing a comprehensive program spanning a total of seven wells in the Gulf of Thailand. The operational campaign is specifically divided into the drilling of four infill wells and three exploration wells, consolidating the corporation’s technical presence in the region’s energy infrastructure.
Regarding technical specifications, the equipment designated for this campaign is a modern jack-up rig built in 2014, designed for high-demand operations in offshore environments.
