A few hours ago, the ILTA 2026 Conference and Trade Show, one of the most significant gatherings for the liquid terminals industry, began in Houston. The event, produced by the International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA), will take place from June 15 to 17 at the Marriott Marquis Houston and the George R. Brown Convention Center.
This year, the event brings together more than 4,500 industry professionals and over 320 exhibitors, including terminal operators, engineers, safety and compliance leaders, executives, suppliers, and strategic players in the industrial chain. Its program combines technical sessions, commercial exchange, and professional networking spaces focused on the business and technology of liquid terminals.
ILTA 2026: A technical agenda for the liquid terminals industry
Over three days, the ILTA 2026 Conference will address key industry topics, including environmental compliance, safety, operations, engineering, government affairs, leadership, human resources, community outreach, and artificial intelligence.
The schedule includes specialized conferences and sessions designed to address current challenges and emerging priorities. Highlighted topics include the ILTA group’s work on PFAS, the use of robotics, drones, and digital models for tank inspection in active terminals, and leadership strategies for modern terminals.
Likewise, the event includes spaces dedicated to operational analysis and risk management, with presentations on organizational resilience, process continuity, and fatigue management in industrial environments.
Speakers and new experiences at the trade show
Keynote speakers for this edition include Terry Bradshaw, John “Gucci” Foley, and Walter Nusbaum, the latter as part of a leadership keynote within the trade show floor.
The trade show is held in Halls A and B of the George R. Brown Convention Center and introduces new experiences for 2026, such as the Leadership Keynote, Learning Lab, Beer Garden, and Soccer Pavilion. These spaces aim to expand opportunities for learning, technical discussion, and interaction among attendees.
Women in Terminals and industrial networking
As part of the program, ILTA 2026 also includes the Women in Terminals Networking Reception, integrated into the Trade Show Preview. This space reinforces the participation of women in the storage and terminal industry, while facilitating connections with leaders, specialists, and business partners.
With this edition, ILTA once again positions itself as a key platform for learning about technologies, regulatory trends, and operational solutions applied to liquid terminals. The event also offers a direct environment for professionals of all levels to share experiences and explore new opportunities within the sector.
