Reach Subsea signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Beacon Offshore Ltd. to jointly develop subsea projects in Australian waters, an alliance that strengthens the operational presence of both companies in one of the most active offshore markets in the region.

The agreement establishes an exclusive collaboration to market, bid on, and execute subsea projects in Australia. The strategy will combine Reach Subsea’s subsea engineering and technology capabilities with the operational availability of Beacon Offshore’s offshore fleet.

Two DPII vessels will be available for immediate operations

One of the key aspects of the partnership is access to the DPII offshore vessels “GO Explorer” and “GO Supporter”. Both vessels are already equipped for underwater operations and hold valid Australian safety certifications, allowing for their immediate integration into offshore projects in the country.

Thanks to this availability, Reach Subsea will be able to expand its capacity to handle inspection, maintenance, underwater construction and ocean monitoring work in the Australian region.

Likewise, the company seeks to strengthen its participation in sectors related to subsea operations, marine exploration and offshore activities of high technical complexity.

Jostein Alendal, CEO of Reach Subsea ASA, stated that the alliance represents an important step forward in the company’s international expansion strategy.

He explained that the combination of underwater engineering capabilities and a high-quality offshore fleet will allow access to new opportunities within the Australian market.

Reach Subsea currently operates a fleet specializing in inspection, maintenance, repair, and support services for subsea construction. Its operations also include marine surveying and data collection services for various industrial sectors.

The company has more than 500 professionals and offices in Europe, America, Asia and Oceania, relying on advanced ROV technology to carry out underwater operations in different offshore environments.

Beacon Offshore strengthens its regional presence

For its part, Thailand-based Beacon Offshore Ltd. brings more than three decades of experience in subsea projects for the oil and gas industry in Southeast Asia.

The company participates in offshore inspection, repair and maintenance activities, as well as projects related to marine renewable energy.

With this partnership, both companies seek to strengthen their image in the Australian subsea market, where demand for specialized offshore services continues to grow.
