The manufacturer Nordex Group has finalized the sale of 100 wind turbines to renewable project developer UKA. The contracts include the N175/6.X and N163/6.X models, both from the Delta4000 series, with a unit nominal capacity reaching six megawatts. The equipment will be strategically deployed across different federal states in Germany to optimize local wind resources.

In addition to the technology supply, the parties confirmed the inclusion of technical service and comprehensive maintenance contracts for a multi-year period. This strategy aims to ensure optimal performance, operational stability, and the long-term longevity of the infrastructure.

Regarding the origin of these awards, the projects are based on the results obtained during the renewable energy auctions held in August 2025 and February 2026. UKA’s executive management noted that this transaction represents a substantial step toward its goal of installing one gigawatt of wind energy over the course of twelve months. The company currently has a construction pipeline totaling 1.6 GW of capacity in the onshore wind energy market.

For its part, Nordex Group’s management expressed its satisfaction at strengthening commercial ties with one of its most regular partners in the Central European region. The corporation highlighted that the turbine design responds precisely to environments with space constraints, grid restrictions, and variations in wind conditions.

Assessing the context of the organizations involved, Nordex Group has a track record of more than 64 GW of installed capacity across forty global markets since 1985. Its financial statements for fiscal year 2025 reported consolidated sales of approximately €7.6 billion. Likewise, the company has a workforce of more than eleven thousand employees across production sites in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, and the United States.

Finally, it should be noted that developer UKA maintains a family-owned company structure founded in 1999, dedicated to the planning, construction, and operation of wind and solar parks and battery storage systems. Its business model seeks to reduce electricity generation costs and eliminate reliance on fossil fuel imports through sustainable infrastructure.
