The president of Bolivia, Luis Arce announced that an investment of approximately USD 67 million is scheduled in hydrocarbon projects for exploration and exploitation for five departments, including Cochabamba.
“We have scheduled an investment of 67 million dollars, of which we will invest approximately 13 million in exploration and exploitation projects that cover five departments, including the territory of Cochabamba,” said the president during his speech commemorating the 212th anniversary of the libertarian feat.
He explained that these projects will allow the discovery of new hydrocarbon deposits for the benefit of the valley region.
He also announced that more than USD 20 million is scheduled to be invested in gas network projects that will generate an increase in the construction of more than 15,000 domestic gas installations.
With these new projects, it will increase to 75,000 additional beneficiaries, mainly in the municipalities of Cercado, Tiquipaya, Sacaba, Quillacollo, Sipe Sipe, among other municipalities.
