INEOS has awarded Semco Maritime a framework agreement for the provision of onshore and offshore services to support its operations in the Danish North Sea. The contract will have an initial term of five years, from June 2026 to May 2031, and includes the possibility of extension for two additional one-year periods.
The agreement strengthens the relationship between both companies and aims to ensure continuity of operations by supplying specialized personnel and technical services for INEOS’s offshore facilities.
The contract covers specialized personnel and technical services
The scope of the agreement includes the provision of qualified professionals for both onshore and offshore work. Required profiles include welders, electricians, production technicians, engineers, medical personnel, and other specialists responsible for supporting daily operations.
Additionally, Semco Maritime will provide rope access services, planned preventive maintenance, work management related to NORM (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials), equipment rental, and assistance from marine technicians.
An agreement to enhance operational efficiency
The collaboration aims to maintain safe and efficient operations at INEOS’s assets located in the Danish North Sea. The availability of specialized personnel and integrated technical services will facilitate the execution of maintenance and operational support activities throughout the contract term.
The continuity of this alliance will also allow for improved human and technical resource planning to meet the demands of offshore operations.

The executive highlighted that the agreement is a recognition of the company’s personnel expertise and its ability to offer highly specialized services across multiple disciplines related to the offshore industry.
He also indicated that the contract provides a planning horizon that will allow for attracting, developing, and retaining qualified professionals to address both this project and future assignments.
