FBR Limited announced yesterday the successful completion of acceptance testing of its Hadrian X® construction robot in Fort Myers, Florida. This breakthrough was validated by an independent structural engineer, confirming that the structures built meet current U.S. building standards.

The testing (which began last month) is part of an agreement between FBR Limited and CRH Ventures, a global leader in building materials solutions. As a result of the successful completion of the testing, FBR received a payment of $600,000 and is preparing to initiate a Demonstration Program. This program includes the construction of five to ten single-story homes using the technology of the new generation Hadrian X® technology.

About the Hadrian X® Demonstration Program

The Demonstration Program is intended to demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of Hadrian X® in a real-world environment. The homes will be evaluated by an independent structural engineer to ensure that they comply with all regulations.

Upon completion of the program, FBR will receive an additional $400,000 payment from CRH Ventures. In addition, CRH Ventures will have the option to form a joint venture to expand the “Wall as a Service®“offering in the U.S. market. The following image details each of the phases of the agreement.
