Carestream NDT won two Stevie Awards at the 2026 American Business Awards for its HPX-ARC Digital Solutions line, a family of digital radiography solutions designed for non-destructive testing in industrial applications.
The company won a Gold Stevie in the “Business-to-Business Products” category and a Silver Stevie in “Product Innovation Achievement”.
The recognition places HPX-ARC at the center of the technical conversation about curved surface inspection, a frequent need in sectors where image quality, capture speed and regulatory compliance are as important as ease of use in the field.
HPX-ARC Digital Solutions stands out for its flexible design
According to information released by the company, the INDUSTREX HPX-ARC 1025 PH offers a 2-inch curvature diameter and a 98 µm pixel pitch. This combination allows the detector to be directly adapted to curved surfaces to obtain high-resolution images more quickly during inspection.
The INDUSTREX HPX-ARC 1043 PH, for its part, incorporates a 4-inch curvature diameter and maintains a pixel pitch of 98 µm. With this, the equipment aims to improve image clarity and support more accurate defect detection in processes that require technical traceability and adherence to inspection codes.
Likewise, the flexible design of these detectors aims to reduce operating times in tasks where rigid systems can limit data capture. In industrial inspections, this flexibility can translate into greater productivity, fewer repositionings, and more direct reading of complex geometries.
During the evaluation, the judges highlighted HPX-ARC’s ability to solve real-world inspection challenges through high-resolution imaging, its robust design, and the time and cost savings it offers customers. They also noted that the flexible detector addresses a clear demand in the B2B market.
Furthermore, the product line was recognized for expanding the possibilities of digital radiography in non-destructive testing. In these types of applications, the ability to adjust the detector to pipes, vessels, curved components, or hard-to-reach parts can make a significant difference in the quality of the diagnosis.
David Chan, CEO of Carestream NDT, stated that winning both a Gold and a Silver Stevie Award reflects the hard work of the Research and Development and Business teams. According to Chan, HPX-ARC was designed to bring digital radiography solutions with practical value for customers in the field.
