Aalberts launches the Apollo LD151 valve for high-pressure systems

Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems expanded its catalog with the Apollo LD151 butterfly valve, designed for industrial facilities, HVAC systems and critical cooling applications, including data centers.

Apollo LD151 achieves a nominal pressure of 250 psi

The Apollo LD151 resilient seat series offers a nominal pressure of 250 psi in sizes up to 24 inches with this capability, the manufacturer is orienting the model towards HVAC systems high pressure, commercial mechanical rooms and industrial processes.

Its applications also include chilled water circuits and cooling towers, where fluid control is an integral part of the refrigeration system’s operation. The proposal thus covers commercial and industrial facilities with varying flow regulation and isolation requirements.

A vulcanized seat improves the valve seal

The Apollo LD151 meets API, AWWA and NSF standards

According to the manufacturer, the Apollo LD151 butterfly valve meets or exceeds the requirements of various standards applicable to commercial and industrial systems.

The specifications mentioned include MSS SP 67, API 609, ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class VI, AWWA C504, AWWA C550, NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 the range includes uses in drinking water systems, HVAC installations and industrial processes, subject to the requirements of each application.

The valve also incorporates a top interface for mounting actuators according to ISO 5211 this feature facilitates its integration into installations that require automated operation, in addition to manual drive configurations.

Data centers and cooling expand their applications
