The Bourbon Group is deploying thirteen strategic naval units after reducing its financial debt below the current operational safety threshold.

After closing a 2025 of deep restructuring, the company Bourbon has decided to make an aggressive move in the offshore market through the integration of 13 specialized vessels. This operation, valued at over $180 million, positions the firm in a competitive advantage to respond to the immediate demand of its international clients.

The PSV and AHTS Units Are Strategic Diesel-Electric Assets

The acquisition of six naval units from the Minsheng Group and the details are revealing. The transaction includes five platform supply vessels (PSV) and one anchor handling unit (AHTS) with a towing capacity of 80 tons. These acquisitions are not coincidental, as they integrate seamlessly into the operational ecosystem that the group already dominates. Likewise, the incorporation of the Bourbon Front and Bourbon Clear vessels, from ICBC, reinforces the commitment to high-capacity X-Bow technology.

I consider it essential to highlight the entry into service of the Bourbon Evolution 810 in February of this year. This vessel represents the forefront in inspection, maintenance, and repair operations (IMR) thanks to its two cranes with heave compensation and its DP3 dynamic positioning system. The accommodation capacity for 105 people and its two high-power ROVs enable the execution of complex projects in deepwater with superior technical precision.

The strategy is not limited to purchasing new units, but includes the commissioning of assets that were out of service. I have verified that the company has reactivated two 80-ton AHTS tugs to respond with agility to market needs. According to current financial data, the debt ratio stands below 1.5 times EBITDA, which provides the group with the necessary solvency to maintain this growth pace in the long term.

Finally, I observe progress in the personnel transport segment. Two 27-meter launches delivered at the end of last year are already operating under a five-year contract in Congo waters. These units stand out for their energy efficiency and modularity, confirming that the transformation initiated months ago is delivering tangible results in terms of profitability and global logistical deployment.
