The U.S. Bureau of Bureau of Shipping (ABS) has approved in principle Bouygues Travaux Publics’ innovative OO-STAR (ABS) has approved in principle Bouygues Travaux Publics‘ innovative OO-STAR floating wind base project, marking a major milestone in the transition to floating wind energy in the United States. This semi-submersible concrete base concept can support turbines of more than 20 MW, positioning it as a viable solution to the challenges of the marine environment.
