Zooz Power, a company specializing in flywheel-based amplifier power management solutions, is consolidating its presence in Germany with the upcoming opening of its fifth ultra-fast charging point for electric vehicles (EVs). This growth has been driven by the success of its ZoozTER-100 system, which is already operating in four key locations.
For more than a year now, two EV charging stations in Herrenberg, managed by charging point operator (CPO) Mer, have been operating with the ZoozTER-100 system, proving its effectiveness. This week, new facilities in Reiskirchen and Weiterstadt, managed by CPO Parkstrom, have also started operating, strengthening the fast charging network in the country.
The next site to be integrated into this infrastructure will be operational shortly, marking a new milestone in Zooz Power’s expansion in Germany.
ZoozTER-100 system for the fifth ultra-fast charging point
The ZoozTER-100 is an advanced power booster system that stores energy during periods of low demand and releases it when needed, enabling fast and continuous EV charging without the need for costly grid upgrades. grid upgrades. This system converts stored energy into kinetic energy and returns it to the grid at the appropriate time, facilitating ultra-fast charging without interruption.

The new facilities in Reiskirchen and Weiterstadt are strategically located along the A5 freeway near Frankfurt and feature two ultra-fast chargers with a capacity of 150 kW, backed by the technology of the ZoozTER-100.
In Reiskirchen, available power has doubled to 200 kW thanks to this technology, while in Weiterstadt, a key industrial area south of Frankfurt Airport, energy capacity has increased by 50%, significantly improving the fast charging offer in the region.
Avi Cohen highlights impact of Zooz Power system
Avi Cohen, CEO of Zooz Power, commented on the growing acceptance of the ZoozTER-100 amplifiers in Germany, noting that this development is a clear indicator of the effectiveness of the system and the increasing demand for innovative solutions in the field of electric vehicle charging.
According to Cohen, the company’s presence in Europe’s largest EV market is growing rapidly, and its technology not only optimizes the charging experience for drivers, but also offers operators of charging point operators new opportunities to expand their networks profitably.
