The company has signed its largest order to date with M Yachts, ensuring the delivery of 32 electric boats to the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region) by the end of next year.
This order represents a significant achievement for the company, strengthening its presence in one of the most dynamic regions in the electric boating sector . The boats, which integrate the latest in technology and sustainable design, will be available at exclusive M Yachts points of sale, allowing local customers to experience the Swedish firm’s innovations first-hand.
The largest order in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
The rise of electric boating in Europe, and particularly in the DACH region, has been driven by factors such as the ban on internal combustion engines on numerous lakes and a growing environmental awareness. According to a study commissioned by X Shore, the German boating market is expected to reach an electrification rate of 12% by 2027 , making this region a key territory for the growth of the sector.

With demand for cleaner and quieter boating solutions on the rise, the company has positioned itself as a leader in this shift towards more environmentally friendly marine mobility. Its all-electric X Shore 1 model reflects this commitment to sustainability, while traditional boats, with their high levels of emissions and noise, are increasingly being rejected by consumers conscious of their environmental impact.
The DACH region has always been aligned with our sustainability values and this order for 32 vessels is a clear sign that the transition to electric shipping is in full swing. Our collaboration with M Yachts will allow us to bring our solutions even closer to local customers.
Commented René Hansen, CEO of X Shore
M Yachts is confident that the boats will be well received in the region, highlighting the combination of performance, design and respect for nature that characterises them.
