Prosafe has announced a contract extension for its Safe Zephyrus vessel , extending offshore support and maintenance operations for the major Brazilian company until September 2027. This agreement extends an initial commitment by more than two years.

The extended contract includes an increase in the daily allocation of available fuel , from 20 to 25 cubic meters per day, adapting to the growing demands of operations. The total value of the agreement amounts to approximately 109.7 million dollars, highlighting the strategic importance of this project for both parties.
Prosafe CEO Terje Askvig highlighted the performance of the Safe Zephyrus in its operations for Petrobras: “This vessel has demonstrated exceptional performance, providing security and technical support in the important port of Buzios. This contract reaffirms the demand for high specification units in the region, a market where Prosafe is well positioned to expand its participation. ”.
The Buzios field , considered one of the largest oil reserves in Brazil, has been an important linchpin in the oil operations of the large Latin American country. The contract extension reflects the operational success and Petrobras ‘ confidence in Prosafe’s high-quality services.
