Liebherr has begun expanding its aerospace plant in Guaratinguetá, São Paulo, with an investment of 45 million euros over the next decade. This expansion aims to increase production capacity and respond to the high demand in the aeronautical industry worldwide.

On February 17, the company held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new building, which will add 8,000 m² of additional space for the manufacturing of high-tech components. This expansion will allow for the machining and surface treatment of aluminum and steel parts , essential for flight control systems, thermal management and landing gear.
Since its foundation in 2005, Liebherr Aerospace Brasil has been a major player in the manufacturing of aeronautical components. The company is certified with international standards such as Nadcap , and continues to strengthen its infrastructure to support the growth of the sector.
