Baker Hughes has announced the extension of its partnership with Microsoft to accelerate digital transformation in the energy and industrial sectors . Through a memorandum of understanding (MOU), both companies seek to strengthen the integration of the Cordant platform with Microsoft Azure , facilitating asset optimization, operational efficiency and technological innovation.

This expanded collaboration will enable Baker Hughes to integrate its Cordant solutions with the advanced capabilities of Azure AI Foundry, providing tools that improve predictive maintenance, operational safety , and energy management. With this synergy, the companies will be able to offer scalable and flexible digital solutions that address industry challenges.
As part of this agreement, Baker Hughes and Microsoft will align their product development strategies to enable Cordant to evolve alongside Azure innovations. In addition, joint go-to-market strategies will be implemented to increase adoption of these solutions, facilitating their availability through the Azure Marketplace.
