Toyota Motor Europe has begun operating five heavy-duty trucks equipped with hydrogen fuel cell technology in its logistics network. The deployment includes key routes in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands, in collaboration with Dutch manufacturer VDL Groep.
Hydrogen trucks mark new phase of transportation
These vehicles, developed on DAF platforms modified by VDL, incorporate fuel cell modules designed by Toyota. modules designed by Toyota. Commitment to logistics decarbonization
The program is part of Toyota’s plan to achieve carbon neutrality in its European logistics operations by 2040.
