The shipyard Strategic Marine and Mainprize Offshore formalized the signing of the Delivery and Acceptance Protocol (PODA) for the MO15 and MO16 vessels. In this way, the addition of the new units continues the deliveries of the MO10, MO11, MO12 and MO14 models completed earlier this year under the Seawork 2024 contractual framework.

Regarding industrial design, the Supa Swath series vessels were developed by Walker Marine Design with the aim of maximizing stability and operational efficiency in adverse sea conditions. Through the integration of advanced propulsion systems and modern navigation technologies, the MO15 and MO16 vessels will provide reliable logistical support for operations and maintenance activities in Europe’s offshore wind sector.

Likewise, the optimized hydrodynamic performance of these platforms helps reduce environmental impact through more efficient fuel consumption during extended offshore missions.

For his part, Mainprize Offshore CEO Bob Mainprize noted that signing this protocol represents a significant step forward in bilateral cooperation with the shipyard. According to the executive, the counterpart’s shipbuilding track record ensures that both vessels will strengthen response capacity for sustainable generation projects in continental waters.

Additionally, Strategic Marine CEO Chan Eng Yew stated that the agreement reflects the mutual commitment to provide specialized marine solutions that meet the evolving demands of the global energy market.

Regarding the organizations’ profiles, Mainprize Offshore manages a specialized fleet that provides logistical services to global energy corporations such as Vestas, Vattenfall, Orsted and RWE. On the other hand, Strategic Marine stands out in the civil and military shipbuilding sector thanks to its scalable production capacity, technical reliability, and high manufacturing standards from its headquarters in Singapore.
