The PNE Group has secured a position in the eleventh tender of the PPE2 government program for the construction of a wind farm in France. The French subsidiary of the German company was positioned among the eleven developers awarded in a process that generated significant interest within the renewable energy sector. The proposal submitted for the Oinville-Saint-Liphard wind farm stood out among the 144 participating bids, which represented a total capacity of 2.38 gigawatts.

Consequently, this selection represents a relevant validation for the firm’s corporate strategy in a highly competitive market. The Oinville-Saint-Liphard project is part of the 39 developments selected by the French government, which total a combined capacity of 808 megawatts. The future facility will be located in the Centre-Val de Loire region and will feature four wind turbines providing an installed capacity of 22 megawatts.

In this regard, the speed of administrative management was a determining factor in the success of the application. French authorities granted environmental and urban planning approval for the Oinville-Saint-Liphard farm in a period of just 15 months. This processing period culminated in May 2026, allowing the company to register the bid in a timely manner for this call.

Furthermore, the reactivation of tenders by the French administration in early April of this year directly favored the company’s development plans. Auctions resumed after a pause of nearly twelve months decreed following the July 2025 call. The publication of the new multi-year energy plan, known as PPE3, marked the restart of these competitive processes and provided the predictability necessary for private investment.

In this respect, the organization’s executives expressed optimism regarding the results obtained and highlighted the performance of their local teams. Roland Stanze, COO of PNE AG, expressed the company’s satisfaction at having prevailed in such a demanding environment. According to the executive, this result validates the technical strength of their team in France and supports the corporation’s strategic direction at an international level.

Additionally, this award adds to a series of favorable commercial moves that the company has recently finalized in French territory. A few days ago, the corporation closed the sale of the Romescamps wind farm to the entity JP Energie Environnement. Likewise, PNE maintains a diversified project portfolio that includes wind, photovoltaic, and energy storage initiatives in its main operating regions.
