The company Ocean Winds has reached the halfway point in the marine installation work for the Dieppe–Le Tréport wind farm. With the placement of the 31st structure, operations are progressing at a steady pace off the French coast to consolidate half of the planned infrastructure.

Thus, the project involves the final assembly of 62 wind turbines, each 211 meters high above sea level. Once the plant is fully operational, the installed capacity will reach 500 megawatts, a volume capable of supplying clean electricity to approximately 850,000 citizens annually.

Consequently, the development of this wind farm is being carried out through a strategic alliance between Ocean Winds, Sumitomo Corporation, and Banque des Territoires. The logistical coordination includes the participation of local suppliers and maritime engineering firms responsible for transporting and securing components offshore.

Likewise, assembly tasks require specialized vessels equipped with positioning systems to secure components to the seabed. Participating companies maintain fluid communication with local fishing communities to ensure the safety of navigation routes throughout the construction phase.

Additionally, this progress reinforces the presence of renewable energies in the French electricity mix. The steady progress at Dieppe–Le Tréport demonstrates the effectiveness of integrated industrial chains in accelerating the decarbonization of the regional energy sector.
