During the recent edition of the PANNDT 2025conference, James Denton, regional sales manager of JME Advanced Inspection Systems, shared with media and attendees the advances and legacy of the British company, leader in nondestructive inspection solutions for the solutions for the oil and gas industry.

With almost 40 years of experience since its founding in 1986, JME has established itself as a global reference in the manufacture of pipeline crawlers. pipeline crawlers (pipeline crawler vehicles) specially designed to inspect circumferential welds in pipelines between 6 and 48 inches in diameter. This technology is key in new construction energy infrastructure projects.

In addition, JME has developed the Betatron generator, an innovative X-ray high-energy X-ray system system that reaches up to 9 MeV, positioning itself as a unique alternative in the market to replace conventional radioactive sources.

James Denton emphasized that their equipment is designed to operate in extreme conditions, with a thermal range from -40 °C to 70 °C, allowing them to work in desert climates in the Middle East as well as in arctic regions such as Alaska. Operator safety, he stressed, is a key priority in all JME designs.

Finally, he stressed the importance of conferences such as PANNDT to promote the exchange of knowledge, direct feedback with users, and the creation of networks among suppliers in the sector. For more information, please visit the official website at www.jme.co.uk.
