INTECH, a company dedicated to industrial automation and electrical solutions, has won a contract to design and implement the Electrical Control System in a major gas extraction project being developed in West Africa. The client is one of the main international energy operators working in that region.
Technical scope of the electrical control system
The company will be responsible for:
- Design and supply electrical control cabinets (cabinets that concentrate and protect electrical components).
- Include all components, accessories and systems necessary to operate reliably and efficiently.
- Perform modifications and upgrades to existing equipment.
- Provide start-up equipment and spare parts.
- Support during the entire implementation, from design to field installation.
Impact of the project on energy infrastructure
More and more companies are looking for turnkey solutions (one company to take care of everything) and with long-term support. With almost 35 years of experience, INTECH stands out for its expertise in complex industrial projects, especially within the oil and gas sector, ensuring that the electrical control system will be robust, safe and efficient, which is critical for the gas extraction.
This project is aligned with the company’s strategy to evolve towards a model based on long-term partnerships, driving a focus on digitalization and Industry 4.0, integrating solutions that enable more efficient and data-driven operations.
