The electric synthetic fuels developer Arcadia eFuels and the energy company MB Energy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Consequently, this cooperation seeks to evaluate commercial and operational opportunities for the creation of a scalable synthetic aviation fuel (eSAF) value chain on the European continent.
Integration of eSAF supply infrastructure and distribution
Through this joint initiative, the organizations intend to integrate the entire operational process, from production via Power-to-Liquid technology to final supply to aircraft. Consequently, the alliance addresses the logistical challenges that condition the mass adoption of low-emission fuels in the aviation industry.
To this end, the technical evaluation will focus on MB Energy’s role as a strategic partner for the purchase and distribution of eSAF volumes generated in the Arcadia eFuels project network. In this way, both companies will design a comprehensive logistics concept that will encompass transport, storage, blending, and final delivery at major airports in the European market.
Commercializing eSAF requires more than simply producing sustainable fuel; it requires the entire value chain.
MB Energy’s expertise in logistics, storage, blending, and fuel distribution makes it an ideal partner to connect production with the aviation market.
Together, we are helping to build the infrastructure needed to expand the use of eSAF across Europe.

In this scenario, the growth in demand for synthetic fuel for aviation responds to the acceleration of European regulatory frameworks oriented toward air transport decarbonization. For this reason, the availability of reliable commercialization routes becomes a critical factor in ensuring the commercial viability of Power-to-Liquid technologies.
The future success of synthetic fuels for aviation will depend on solid cooperation throughout the entire value chain.
Arcadia eFuels brings its production expertise, while MB Energy contributes infrastructure, logistics, market access, and customer relationships.
Together, our goal is to explore how to establish scalable and reliable eSAF supply chains for the European aviation market.
