Cadeler to install turbines and foundations in new offshore wind farm

Cadeler has signed two firm contracts for the transport and installation of both foundations and turbines for a future offshore wind farm. offshore wind farmconsolidating its role as a reference in the offshore renewable energy sector.

Offshore wind turbines and foundations campaign

The Danish company will execute a complete campaign of foundation installation starting in early 2029. This operation will use one of its A-class vessels, designed to handle large-scale structures in demanding offshore conditions. Subsequently, in 2030, it will start turbine installation using a self-elevating O-class vessel. Both phases are to be completed before the end of that year.

The agreement represents a combined projected value of close to EUR 500 million. However, execution is subject to the client’s final investment decision, which means that contracts may be cancelled with the payment of penalties if the project does not progress.

With nine installation vessels in operation and three more under construction, Cadeler has positioned itself as a key supplier to the development of complex large-scale offshore large-scale complex offshore projects. Its focus on integrated operations and specialized logistics has been instrumental in securing contracts that demand high levels of efficiency and adaptability.
