Teledyne Marine has announced the receipt of its first orders for the Compact Navigator, an innovative autonomous navigation system designed specifically for subsea and surface vehicles. This solution, officially unveiled at the Ocean Business 2025 event, marks a milestone in the evolution of navigation technology for operations in challenging environments.

The Compact Navigator stands out for its exceptional performance despite its ultra-compact size, which makes it the ideal solution for underwater inspections in harsh environments. This fully autonomous system does not rely on GNSS technology, allowing it to operate in complex acoustic conditions, essential for modern autonomous vehicles such as ROVs and AUVs.

The system is available in two depth rating versions, up to 4000 meters, and is scheduled to begin deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2025, offering an even more affordable and flexible solution for global customers.
