Sony Honda Mobility (SHM) has taken a bold step in transforming mobility with the unveiling of its first model, AFEELA 1, at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Designed to redefine the transportation experience, this electric vehicle (EV) will be available for online reservation starting today, with deliveries planned for 2026 in California.
The vehicle combines advanced software and high-end hardware to offer an interactive mobility experience. Equipped with the AFEELA Intelligent Drive system, it uses cutting-edge sensors such as cameras, LiDAR and radars to ensure safety and comfort on every journey. It also includes OTA updates to keep its technology always up to date.
The design of the AFEELA 1 combines luxury and environmental commitment
The AFEELA 1 cabin is designed as a creative entertainment space. Occupants will be able to enjoy exclusive content provided by partners such as Spotify and Dolby Atmos, while the immersive sound system and individual screens ensure a luxurious experience.
Using recycled materials and sustainable sources, the EV’s design reflects a commitment to sustainability. It will be manufactured at an advanced plant in Ohio, highlighting the collaboration between technology and the environment.
Prices and versions
The vehicle will be available in two versions:
- AFEELA 1 Origin : From $89,900.
- AFEELA 1 Signature : Starting at $102,900, including premium features like 21-inch wheels and advanced monitoring systems.
With three exterior color options and connectivity to Tesla’s charging network, this model promises to satisfy both tech enthusiasts and environmentalists.
