Marine Travelift announced in a statement the launch of its new Electric series of mobile hoists for boats, designed to operate without emissions . After two years of development and rigorous testing, the company has achieved that these electric hoists match the performance of their diesel versions, providing an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative for marinas around the world.

New electric hoists can lift up to 50 metric tons

The flagship model, the 50BFMII , features a 700-volt battery system, capable of lifting up to 50 metric tons, offering the same load capacity as internal combustion models.

In addition to its emission -free operation, the hoist includes advanced features such as four-wheel electronic steering, work and driving lighting, and a dual-speed option to accommodate a variety of load and work conditions . Performance testing spanned 18 months in a variety of climatic conditions to ensure operability in a variety of environments.

The American-made batteries on this hoist can be fully charged in just eight hours using a 30kW fast charger, allowing 10-14 boats to be lifted in one day under normal marina use conditions.

To maximize battery life, users can plug in the hoist during non-use intervals. The integrated safety system includes insulation monitors, high voltage junction boxes and a glycol cooling system to ensure safe operation in any environment.

According to Weston Wedeward, Marine Travelift engineer, the team worked hard to ensure the Electric series maintained the brand’s signature quality and durability.

Our goal was to develop an emission-free hoist that operates with the same efficiency and simplicity as diesel models.

Wedeward said.
