berdrola | bp pulse, the joint venture between Iberdrola and bp pulse , has opened the largest electric vehicle charging station in the country at the Nevada Shopping Centre in Granada. With 70 charging points distributed in different capacities, this electric charging hub responds to the growing demand for electric vehicles and represents a significant step towards more sustainable mobility in the region.
The largest charging station in Spain
Located in a strategic location, this large charging station has the capacity to serve up to 70 vehicles simultaneously. The facility includes 56 22 kW chargers, 6 50 kW chargers and 8 150 kW chargers , making it one of the most complete in terms of charging power available on the market.
This infrastructure is designed to facilitate fast and ultra-fast charging, covering the needs of both electric passenger vehicle drivers and commercial fleets.
In addition to its size and capacity, the public charging station is perfectly located on the GR-30 ring road , one of the city’s main arteries, making it a key access point for those travelling to or from Granada, Malaga, Almeria or Jaen.
A joint effort
The project has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of several key players. From the Nevada Shopping Centre to companies such as Igneo Ingeniería Sostenible and CIRCUTOR, each has contributed their experience to make this charging infrastructure a reality.
Iberdrola | bp pulse’s electric charging network continues to expand, and this station is just one example of how the company is committed to the electrification of transport throughout the Iberian Peninsula.
This project is part of a broader plan that seeks to install charging stations in other shopping centres and strategic points in Andalusia, the Canary Islands and Catalonia, areas with a high concentration of electric vehicle users.
A commitment to sustainability
What really stands out about this inauguration is the focus on sustainability. With this electric charging station, Iberdrola | bp pulse offers an electric mobility solution for users and contributes significantly to the reduction of CO₂ emissions. Thanks to the renewable energy used in the charging process, the company’s commitment to the environment is reinforced.
With the arrival of this station, Granada is positioning itself as a benchmark in charging infrastructure in Andalusia and is taking a step towards the future of clean and accessible mobility for all.
