Chery introduces AiMOGA, a humanoid robot to serve customers at dealerships

AiMOGA interprets natural language, recognizes gestures and moves with precision to assist real customers in an automotive dealership.

During the presentation of Chery’s Intelligent Strategy in March 2025, attendees were amazed to see a humanoid robot in gray exo-suit interacting naturally at the OMODA C5 JOYSTAR 4S dealership in Kuala Lumpur. That robot is AiMOGA, a figure that embodies the leap from virtuality to the real world.

Inspired by Mornine, the digital avatar that accompanied the launch of the OMODA C5 and connected with generation Z in networks and digital events, AiMOGA is the physical evolution of this strategy. Now it walks, talks, interprets emotions and answers customer questions in real time.

Artificial intelligence at the service of customer experience

AiMOGA is not a simple assistant. It is designed with a multimodal perception model that allows it to understand spoken language, gestures and spatial context at the same time. This capability gives it an advanced understanding of the showroom environment, making interaction with visitors smooth and accurate.

In addition, thanks to its bionic motion system and automotive-grade hardware, it performs complex tasks such as serving drinks, managing test drives or coordinating with other robots during guided tours.

An automotive infrastructure applied to robotics

The development of AiMOGA is the result of a strategic technological migration. Chery has capitalized on its capabilities in autonomous drivingenvironmental sensing and vehicle manufacturing to build a solid service robotics foundation. This infrastructure made it possible to move from prototype to commercial deployment in record time.

From its first trials in 2023 to its international debut in Kuala Lumpur, AiMOGA has demonstrated its capabilities at global events, from the Distributor Summit to technical competitions, establishing itself as a high-impact asset.

The robot will participate in the next Shanghai Motor Show interacting with NEV models from OMODA and JAECOO, including the C7 SHS and J5 BEV.
