The agreement between Vestas and Tessa Green Energy confirms the supply of 70 MW through eleven wind turbines from the EnVentus platform. This new project includes AOM 5000 technical support to ensure optimal and stable performance for the Strazhitsa, Bulgaria electrical system.

The V162-6.4 MW turbines are the core of this operation in the Strazhitsa region. The equipment maximizes wind capture under variable conditions and offers the efficiency Bulgaria requires to consolidate its role as an electricity exporter. The integration of these systems enables the country to reduce its dependence on energy imports and mitigate price fluctuations in the wholesale market.

Alexander Manolev, from Tessa Green Energy, has made it clear that collaboration with global partners is the foundation of their regional growth. For its part, Vestas resumes its activity in a market where it has 360 MW installed and a service network operational for nearly two decades.

The transition toward a sustainable model in Bulgaria has gained momentum this year. The capacity to transform the national profile from importer to net energy exporter demonstrates that renewable resources are profitable. Likewise, the development of modern wind infrastructure attracts foreign investment and strengthens the local supply chain in Eastern Europe.
