The strategy seeks to secure access to semiconductors, critical minerals, and advanced artificial intelligence capabilities while Washington attempts to build a cooperative network capable of reducing dependence on supply chains linked to Beijing.
US tightens conditions for its AI alliance
The United States is preparing to ask dozens of countries to define their position on the AI race with China Washington aims to prevent its partners from participating simultaneously in its technological ecosystem and in rival initiatives promoted by Beijing.
The measure appears in a draft letter prepared by the State Department and reviewed by Reuters. The document is addressed to the 35 countries that signed the Declaration of Opportunities in June IA linked to the United States.
