TechnipFMC gana contrato de tuberías flexibles para Greater PAJ de Azule Energy

TechnipFMC secured a contract from Azule Energy to supply flexible flowlines and risers for the Greater PAJ development, located offshore Angola.

The contract scope includes the design and manufacture of flexible systems that will connect wells located at depths of nearly 2,000 meters to a new floating production unit.

Deepwater Subsea Solutions

The project reinforces TechnipFMC’s activity in complex offshore developments, where flexible pipes play a fundamental role in transporting production from subsea wells to floating infrastructure.

Furthermore, the contract confirms the demand for subsea solutions capable of operating in deepwater environments, with high technical requirements and tight execution deadlines.

Greater PAJ Advances in Angola

Greater PAJ is part of Azule Energy’s development portfolio in Angola, one of West Africa’s most active offshore markets. The incorporation of flexible flowlines and risers will enable the integration of wells with the future floating production unit.

Jonathan Landes, President of TechnipFMC’s Subsea division, noted that the award consolidates the company’s expertise in large deepwater projects in the region and highlighted the use of proven flexible technology.

TechnipFMC Strengthens Its Subsea Presence

Likewise, the award expands TechnipFMC’s participation in subsea infrastructure for offshore production, a segment where the reliability of connection systems is crucial for the operation of deepwater fields.

With this contract, the company will provide engineering and manufacturing capabilities aimed at accelerating the Greater PAJ development and supporting Angola’s offshore energy production.
