Axens and Wison Cooperation for eSAF Production
The alliance combines Axens’ expertise in catalyst supply and process licensing with Wison Engineering‘s capabilities in modular and integrated project execution. The framework focuses its efforts on the Fischer-Tropsch technology route, a fundamental technical scheme for converting captured carbon and green hydrogen into net-zero emission fuels for the aviation industry.
The entities aim to mitigate financial risks associated with the final investment decision (FID) by standardizing industrial processes and rigorously controlling operational costs. Additionally, the integration of Wison Engineering’s international supply chain seeks to reduce construction, assembly, and commissioning times for industrial reactors.
Optimizing technical execution models will facilitate the accelerated replication of these plants in various strategic markets without compromising asset bankability. Axens contributes a portfolio backed by the applied research of IFP Energies Nouvelles, focused on delivering high-efficiency equipment, chemical processes, and catalysts.
On the other hand, Wison Engineering, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under code 02236.HK, provides its engineering, procurement, and construction infrastructure for the global energy and chemical sectors. The combination of both operational capabilities aims to meet international regulatory demands for reducing polluting emissions in commercial air transport.
