Subsea Global Solutions has received authorization from Singapore authorities for the use and implementation of its advanced C-ROV technology in underwater cleaning , maintenance and prevention of ship hulls.
Subsea Global’s C-ROV technology
This advancement will enable green cleanings to be carried out while ships are loading in port, minimising vessel downtime and improving operational efficiency in one of the world’s busiest ports.
Subsea Global’s C-ROV technology has the capability to perform underwater hull maintenance without the intervention of divers. Equipped with an integrated filtration plant , the system captures biological waste on hulls, such as marine fouling, ensuring that contaminants are not released into the water, helping to preserve marine ecosystems and complying with Singapore’s strict environmental regulations.
This new service strengthens Subsea Global Solutions ’ environmental commitment as an efficient and environmentally friendly subsea cleaning service provider. With the ability to operate during extended operational windows, the C-ROV system allows working even at night, improving productivity and reducing the impact of biofouling on vessels.
Subsea Global Environmental Services Director Karl Lander said: “The growing demand for green hull cleaning in Singapore is a testament to the need for innovative solutions. The authorization of the C-ROV allows us to advance our capabilities to offer services worldwide. “.
