Currently, Solares Florida is headquartered in Hialeah, where it supplies equipment for the measurement , control , and safe transfer of fuels , operating primarily in the Caribbean, Central America, and certain areas of the United States. In addition, the products it distributes are essential for loading tanker trucks, providing fuel for aircraft, power plants, and service stations.
On the other hand, one of the company’s most notable products is the radar tank gauge , developed by Emerson , a specialist in measurement technology. This gauge offers exceptional accuracy and reliability, ensuring precise fuel measurement, preventing overfills, and ensuring safe fuel handling. It has been deployed on numerous Caribbean islands.
In addition to being a distributor, Solares Florida Corporation positions itself as a systems integrator , tailoring customized solutions for each client by combining equipment from different manufacturers, allowing them to offer tailored solutions for their customers’ specific needs.
However, Ignacio Solares noted that one of the company’s biggest challenges lies in the logistics of operating in island markets with limited infrastructure. The company faces difficulties accessing certain markets in the Caribbean and Central America, which requires the use of different means of transportation, such as ships and planes, to provide technical support in these areas.
