This component, larger than a 20-story building and heavier than 10 Boeing 747s, rests firmly on the seabed, providing the necessary support for the giant wind turbines that will generate more than 1 billion kWh of electricity annually.

Through the collaborative work of SFE and its partners, the project has overcome the technical and logistical challenges involved in installing this impressive infrastructure. This progress will contribute to reducing carbon emissions by approximately 400,000 tons per year, propelling Taiwan and the world toward a more sustainable future.

Phase II of the TPC II wind farm is a testament to innovation in the offshore energy sector. As construction progresses, the wind turbines, supported by these massive wind jackets , ensure stable renewable energy production, vital to the country’s and the region’s energy goals.
