Today, March 26, 2025, McDermott was selected by Shell Global Solutions International BV for a three-year Enterprise Framework Agreement (EFA) with the possibility of an additional two-year extension. This agreement aims to provide Shell with a full range of engineering and procurement services, as well as the integration of project management teams (IPMT).
The scope of the agreement includes several of McDermott’s business lines, including its low-carbon solutions , offshore operations in the Middle East, and subsea and floating facilities. The company will leverage its global engineering centers and expertise to develop and execute engineering solutions for Shell, assisting in the planning and execution of complex projects worldwide.

According to Maurizio Coratella, McDermott’s executive vice president, McDermott’s long-standing relationship with Shell and its global execution model make the company an ideal partner for the execution of Shell’s future project portfolio. McDermott is already executing a significant portfolio of projects in the Gulf of Mexico , Trinidad and Tobago, Western Australia and Malaysia, positioning itself as a key player in the global energy industry.
