The German firm has just finalized the sale of its Vietlübbe wind farm, located in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This transaction represents the company’s third successful transfer so far in 2026, confirming its significant dynamism in the renewable asset market.
Technical Details of the Vietlübbe Wind Farm for Germany
The infrastructure in question is not a minor project. It features 14 state-of-the-art wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 80 megawatts. It is important to note that these machines have been operational since late 2025 and generate clean electricity for thousands of homes. The buyer in this instance is Encavis, an independent producer seeking to strengthen its generation portfolio on German soil.
Stefan Kath, UKA’s Chief Operating Officer, stated that this transaction demonstrates the company’s ability to execute large-scale projects with high-quality standards. With this sale and the previous ones in Görzig and Niederasphe, the company has provided reliable energy to over 100,000 households. Furthermore, the developer maintains an enviable construction pace with 1.6 gigawatts currently under execution.
The company does not stop here and has opened a tender process for six other turnkey projects in Germany. These future plants will add 326 additional megawatts and are expected to become operational before 2027. Interested investors have a clear window of opportunity to acquire assets that are already in advanced stages of construction or preparation. UKA continues to demonstrate that its 25 years of experience guarantee comprehensive wind farm management and photovoltaic projects.
