The company Fugro has reached an agreement with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) to take charge of the technical phase of the FengMiao II wind farm. Among Fugro’s main operational activities is the deployment of the Pacific Hornbill, a Taiwanese-flagged vessel equipped with the C30 drilling platform.
They will also deploy WISON MkV EcoDrive technology and the SEACALF MkV Deep Drive system to obtain high-quality data. This ensures accurate sampling both on the seabed and at the bottom of the borehole.
Since 2016, the firm has been present, delivering geodata solutions for multiple clients in the wind sector. Safri Drahman has stated that this contract strengthens CIP’s confidence in its operational capabilities.
The field campaign is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2026. The company also continues to consolidate its position as a strategic partner in the transition to cleaner energy sources in the region.
