The wind energy sector will meet at the Mexico WindPower 2022 event

Under the motto “With the wind in favor”, the 10th edition of Mexico WindPower 2022 Exhibition and Congress will be held on March 23 and 24, 2022 at the Citibanamex Center, in Mexico City, in an international meeting where it will be discussed the future of wind energy.

This event, organized by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the Mexican Wind Energy Association (AMDEE), together with Tarsus Mexico, has established itself as the most important platform to expose and learn about the latest innovations on the show floor.

Likewise, the International Congress and Technical Program will bring together 41 experts, of which the following stand out: Lilian Cléa Rodrigues Alves, Director of Strategic Planning of Mitsui & Co. Power Americas, Nicola Ardito, Bilateral Relations Officer with America of the European Union, Ivette Castillo, Executive Director of GE Grid Solutions, Ramón Fiestas Hummler, President of GWEC Latin America, Gauri Singh, Deputy Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Durwood Zaelke, Founder and President of the Institute for Governance & Sustainable Development (IGSD ) in Washington.

Among the topics of the conferences that will be developed are: “Heading to Net Zero”, “Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)”, “Hydrogen, integration of wind energy”, “Towards the integration of renewable energies”, ” An electricity network for the future”, “Offshore wind energy, at the core of the energy transition”, among others.

Finally, during the event, the Ehécatl Innovation Award will also be presented, which will be awarded to leaders who develop projects for the benefit of the communities.
