Tekmar Group, a leading provider of products and solutions to the global offshore energy market, has announced the award of a £5 million contract for the design and supply of subsea cable protection systems for a UK wind farm.
Advanced solutions for offshore wind farms
The contract includes the development of Tekmar’s Generation 10 Cable Protection System (CPS), designed to optimize cable durability and performance in challenging marine environments. In addition, associated accessories such as cable hanger clamps, essential to ensure the stability and safety of offshore infrastructure , will be provided.
Tekmar’s comprehensive engineering and design expertise will be key to meeting the technical demands of the project. Richard Turner, Group CEO, highlighted that the integration of customised solutions demonstrates Tekmar ’s commitment to marine asset protection and the transition to clean energy.
