Manta Aircraft has revealed its new ANN 6 aircraft at the China Airshow. This long-range hybrid-electric aircraft introduces HeV/STOL technology that aims to enhance regional air transport capabilities. With the ability to take off and land in tight spaces, the aircraft stands out for its versatility and superior performance.
Hybrid propulsion in the ANN 6 model
The ANN6 aircraft integrates electric propulsion for vertical takeoffs with eight ducted fans, powered by sustainable fuels for long-range flights. In addition, its range of 300 km in VTOL mode and more than 1,000 km in STOL mode ensure that this aircraft can travel intercity and cargo transport routes without frequent refueling.
Furthermore, its short takeoff and vertical takeoff capabilities allow the ANN 6 model to adapt to multiple flight modes, from business trips and medical operations to offshore logistics. Its in-flight battery recharging system ensures exceptional autonomy, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly option for interregional flights.
The ANN 6 cabin offers luxury and functionality, with materials such as carbon fiber and Nappa leather. Equipped with advanced safety systems and intuitive controls, this model is designed to offer a unique flight experience. In addition, its hybrid powertrain minimizes operating costs, while its modularity allows for agile and low-cost maintenance.
