At CES 2025, Aptera Motors unveiled its first production-ready solar electric vehicle ( sEV ). This model ensures significant energy autonomy and an innovative design, managing to minimize dependence on traditional electric charging.
The first integrated solar electric vehicle
Aptera’s vehicle features a unique system of strategically placed solar panels on the hood, roof, dashboard and rear hatch. This design allows for up to 40 miles of daily solar-powered range, accumulating more than 10,000 miles per year in sunny regions. For longer journeys, the vehicle offers fast charging that reaches 400 miles in less than an hour, ensuring flexibility for diverse lifestyles.
