HyLight, an innovative company in the use of hydrogen blimps for aerial inspection, has achieved a significant investment of 3.7 million euros. This capital will allow the French startup to expand the production of its steerable drones and deploy them at an industrial level, representing the first emission-free alternative for the supervision of essential infrastructure such as power lines and railways.

With the recent financing, HyLight has the opportunity to execute its first large-scale projects and, in turn, expand its network of strategic collaborations, consolidating its presence in the market. This financial boost will also facilitate the incorporation of talent in key areas such as aeronautical regulation, systems engineering and software development, essential for its growth and technological consolidation.

The world faces the monumental challenge of maintaining and monitoring an energy infrastructure network that extends more than 80 million km, a distance more than 200 times the distance between the Earth and the Moon. It is vital that these structures are inspected regularly to prevent failures and ensure optimal functioning. In this context, traditional alternatives such as helicopters and satellites present limitations due to their high cost, environmental impact and lack of precision.

Faced with these challenges, HyLight offers a promising solution with its hydrogen airships that, in addition to being economical and precise, do not generate polluting emissions .
