El nuevo liderazgo y logística energética directiva para la región

The global provider of integrated logistics and materials management services, ASCO, has announced the official opening of its first energy logistics office in the Middle East, strategically located in Doha, Qatar. This new infrastructure directly responds to the increased demand for inventory technologies, supply chain management, and environmental consulting within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

New Leadership and Energy Logistics Management for the Region

The decision to establish a presence in Qatari territory is part of an international strategy aimed at bringing the organization’s operational capabilities closer to its global clients. The office will serve as an operational hub to optimize efficiency and safety in major critical infrastructure projects in the region.

Regarding the command structure, the direction of commercial activities in the Middle East will be led by Craig Revie, a professional with over three decades of experience in the defense, renewable energy, and offshore oil sectors. Throughout his career with the company, Revie has coordinated the development of multiple service lines, bringing strong commercial expertise to the project.

Specifically, the management of regional growth in Qatar will be led by Lee Vettese, who assumes the role of Regional Manager after serving as Business Development Manager in the UK. Vettese has over fifteen years of international experience in the energy sector, specializing in consolidating strategic alliances and client loyalty.

Additionally, the management team is complemented by the appointment of Walaa Mroueh as Business Services Manager. Mroueh brings fourteen years of experience in accelerating business units in markets such as Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Service Portfolio and Sustainability Projections

Furthermore, the organization is already experiencing commercial traction in the area, driven by existing contracts in fields such as maritime logistics, decommissioning preparedness, and lifting assurance. Group CEO Mike Pettigrew has stated that the Middle East represents a fundamental expansion zone, where corporate expertise in NORM waste management and supply chain will provide clear differential value.

Indeed, the region’s energy and port infrastructure demands a high level of traceability and regulatory control. The company’s technical offering focuses on ensuring that local operators can maximize asset performance in full compliance with current ecological regulations.

Likewise, this geographical expansion coincides with the award of various international contracts and the global brand identity renewal of the firm. Environmental and waste management services are poised to be the main growth drivers in the medium term for the Doha headquarters.
