The company has expanded its product portfolio to include battery solutions from its strategic partner Wolong, which will enable more efficient and stable integration of energy into the green hydrogen production process.
This alliance marks a breakthrough in the innovation of renewable energy technologies, with the goal of maximizing the efficiency of solar and wind sources.
Advanced batteries to optimize the production of green hydrogen
Wolong’s new lithium-ion batteries , with capacities ranging from 150 kW to several megawatts, integrate seamlessly with Enapter’s AEM electrolyzers , resulting in complete optimization of the energy process. These energy storage solutions have a significant impact on reducing operating costs, allowing companies to take advantage of peak energy production while ensuring continued stability in hydrogen production.
One of the key innovations is Enapter’s energy management system, which controls both the electrolyzer and the batteries and power generation. This ensures that the energy stored in the batteries can be used during low-production periods, when available renewable energy is insufficient to power the electrolyzer. This allows Enapter to achieve more efficient hydrogen production , even during off-peak hours, when renewable sources such as solar and wind power are not as abundant.
