The magniX company established an agreement with Harbor Air, the largest seaplane airline in North America, for the sale of 50 magnix engines to “electrify its fleet”, starting with the De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver model, in mid-2026 .
A technological alliance with history
This agreement in the aviation industry consolidates the alliance between magniX and Harbor Air, a pioneer in seaplane technology . In 2019, both companies made history with the eBeaver, the world’s first all-electric commercial aircraft , powered by a magni650 engine.
The magniX company is positioned as a leader in electric aviation , promoting historic flights with five different aircraft. Its technology has electrified Eviation’s Alice airliner and the de Havilland Dash 8, the world’s largest hydrogen-electric aircraft.
