Among the first available applications is the module based on API 579 Fitness for Service (FFS), a widely used methodology for evaluating the fitness for service of industrial equipment. Patel noted that this will be one of the initial functionalities, although the company plans to continuously incorporate new applications to expand the platform's capabilities.
Likewise, the offering includes applications oriented toward disciplines such as mechanical integrity, asset reliability, and inspection management, with the purpose of centralizing processes that typically require the use of multiple tools.
From the SAP ecosystem to an open approach
One of the most significant aspects of the announcement is AsInt's shift in technological positioning.
